‘Teaching people with Disabilities to Drive’ Training course

Disabled driver tuition can be fun, challenging and rewarding!

Course held at the Mobility Service at 'living' (formerly Disabled Living Centre) Bristol

Content normally includes:

  • Medical conditions relevant to driving
  • Licensing and DSA driving test
  • Eye screening and visual problems
  • Matching adaptations to physical dysfunction
  • Measuring strength and reaction time
  • Advice on adapting cars for tuition
  • Driving trials in a selection of adapted cars.

Ongoing advice will be available to ADI's who decide to specialise in this field.
